Jesus save me!
Acts 2:21 Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Dear God, in the name of Jesus forgive me of my sins.
1 John 1:9  If we confess our sins, he  is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Jesus, come into my life, be my Lord (Boss).
Romans 10:9  If you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Thank you Jesus.

With those 4 prayers you became a Christian.   With those 4 prayers, you are born again.

What do you mean, born again?

I mean your slate is wiped clean.  Your sins, past and future, are forgiven.  Hebrews 10:17.  There are no sins attached to you because of your past.  You are now a new person (new creation) in Jesus Christ.  2 Corinthians 5:17

You have to learn all over again how to live your life.  You do that by reading and believing the Bible.

You are now filled with the Holy Spirit.  Acts 4:31.  This is different from being baptized into the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit will now try to lead you on your new life.  I say try because you still have a free will and a choice.  However, the Holy spirit will time after time tell you a better way.  John 14:26.  As you learn to hear Him, you will learn that His way is the best way.

I was filled with the Holy Spirit who gave me a desire to read the Bible from cover to cover several times.  Christians call that a thirst for the Word of God.

To be baptized in the Holy Spirit you decide to allow the Holy Spirit to speak through your mouth with a language that you do not understand.  1 Corinthians 14:2.   Christians call that speaking with other tongues.   It is meant to edify your soul.  1 Corinthians 14:4.  It is also meant as a sign for the unbelievers.  1 Corinthians 14:22.

Lets go back.  When you prayed those 4 prayers, you were translated (moved) from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of Jesus (God's dear Son).   Colossians 1:13.  You now have a citizenship in the kingdom of God.  You are a citizen of Jesus'  kingdom.   God has promised to protect you.  Psalms 91.   All of the spiritual realm knows who you are.   It is waiting to see what you will do.  Romans 8:19.  Evil spirits wait fearfully.

Will you believe and act on the promises that God has given you?  Will you use the powers that God has made available to you?  Or will you believe and act like a nothing and a nobody?   If you fail to realize the promises and powers that are available, you leave yourself open to attacks by the enemy.   If you believe and do what the Bible says, then you have power over all the power of the enemy.  Luke 10:19.  Nothing can by any means hurt you.  Luke 10:19.

Jesus has been given power over all flesh.  John 17:2.  Jesus has been given all power in earth and in heaven.   Matthew 28:18.   Jesus and God and the Holy Spirit are one.   John 10:30, 2 Corinthians 3:17.  The Holy Spirit lives in you.  Romans 8:11.   He ranges from finger-tip to finger-tip and from head to toe.   You are wall to wall filled with the Holy Spirit.   When you move, He moves.  When you sit, He sits.  When you speak, you speak with the power of creation.   You have the authority to speak in Jesus' Name.   John 14:14.   Tell the mountain that it should be thrown into the sea and believe, and it will happen.  Mark 11:23.  If you speak bad things, they too will come to pass.  If you speak good things, they will come to pass.  Speak the words of the Bible, and they will come to pass.

Satan is a defeated foe.  Hebrews 2:14.  He cannot stand against you if you speak the word of God.  Jesus showed us that after 40 days of fasting.  Matthew 4:1-11.  If you speak the words of the devil, then you allow him to bring them to pass.  The Bible says that you will be judged for every idle word you speak.   Matthew 12:36-37.   What you say is very important.

Walk your life in the power of God.  Do work that God has asked you to do.   Pray and ask God to give you boldness to speak God's Word and ask God to perform signs and wonders to confirm his word in your mouth.   Acts 4:29-30.   Preach the gospel, the Good News, to every creature.   Mark 16:15.   Preach and heal.   Luke 9:2, 10:9.

Find a bible believing church.   Find other believers to share your experiences with.   Do not die but live and declare the works of the Lord.  Psalms 118:17.
