All Christians await the next great event for the Church - the Rapture.
This event will extract all Christians from the Earth to meet with the returning Jesus. The rest of the people of the earth will remain. There will be 3 1/2 years of peace followed by 3 1/2 years of conflict.
There is now an ongoing recruitment program to bring new Christians into the Church. This is called a revival. It may be the last chance to join with Jesus before the Rapture. Revival is occurring around the world. The choice is being given to everyone, everywhere, to accept Jesus as Savior and Lord - or not. The choice is put before you. Would you like to join up with Jesus or not? This is the most important choice that you will ever make.
Jesus came to Earth about 2,000 years ago and became the innocent sacrifice for our sins - those actions that we take that are not in accordance with the way that God wants us to act. Each time we act contrary to what God's wants us to do, we are sinning. The penalty for sin is death. Death is eternity in hell without God. If you are without God, you are with Satan, who is the head of all the rebellion against God.
Our ancestor, the first man, Adam, sinned and accepted Satan as Lord and Master. Jesus was the first man to never sin. In order to trap Satan, Jesus allowed himself to be accused of sin and punished illegally. He was not a sinner. When Satan grabbed Jesus illegally, he lost his right to get anyone who would claim Jesus as Lord. For Satan could not hold Jesus. After three days Jesus rose from the dead, victorious over Satan.
Jesus spent 40 days on Earth after he rose from the dead. He was seen by over 500 people. Then he rose to Heaven to be with God.
Page 2: Rapture (continued)
Why should anyone choose Jesus instead of Satan? Jesus is victorious. Jesus heals the sick, frees those who are in bondage, and prospers all who will accept it. The blind see, the lame walk, and the dead are raised. If you accept Jesus as Lord, then you will have Eternal Life with God.
If you don't accept Jesus, then you spend eternity with Satan in Hell. There is no middle ground. There is no other choice. While you were still a sinner, Jesus paid the price for your sins. Yes, He knew what they would be. No one can choose for you. You must make your own choice.
Choose life with Jesus. Choose death with Satan in Hell. Hell is bad. Jesus is good. You choose.
God says that all of our sins have been paid for by Jesus punishment. Romans 8:3. God says that we are free from Satan if we accept Jesus as our savior and Lord. Romans 10:13. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, then you will be saved. Romans 10:9. The confession is all that it takes. You can do it on your own, in private -- but your life will be changed.
Find a Bible believing church and attend. The people there will help you in your Christian walk.
